Radio Design makes a debut TV appearance on BBC Four’s James May’s Big Trouble in Model Britain. The two-part documentary follows a year inside the iconic model railway brand Hornby as the toymaker attempts to turn its fortunes around and looks to the future.
In Episode 2 (aired on 13 March 2019), Hornby’s Marketing Director, Simon Kohler, visits the Radio Design studio to experience virtual reality for the first time and hear our digital strategy presentation. During the session, we introduced Simon to the potential of immersive AR and VR technologies, exploring how they could bring Hornby’s rich heritage IP to life in new and engaging ways.
