Ben Cook speaks at MPA Seminars on VR and the future of music publishing

Radio Design’s Director Ben Cook was invited to speak at the Music Publishers Association specialist seminars on the panel ‘What is Virtual Reality and what are the licensing opportunities around it?’.

Ben and fellow panellists Steve Hancock (Melody VR) and Tiago Correia (Warner Music Group) enjoyed a lively discussion around how VR is adding value to the music industry, creating new opportunities for licensing models and bringing artists closer to their fans.

The seminar programme offered insights into key areas of innovation effecting the music publishing industry. Other panels explored topics on blockchain and copyright data, cryptocurrency and licensing income collection, and the role of AI in music production.
